This architect has designed three buildings, located around the Windward traffic circle, that commemorate the founding days of Venice.
The large, contemporary color photos of the modern buildings were taken by Paul Tanck.

Homage to the Antlers Hotel

Three views of the Antlers Hotel, located on the Lagoon. It is said that there was a speakeasy in the basement during the Prohibition era

Homage to the Canal Dredges

These machines carved out the canal channels.

Homage to the Race Thru the Clouds roller coaster

In 1911, Race Thru the Clouds was built in former location of the Midway Plaisance, where Windward Avenue met the Lagoon. Made of wood, it was 90 feet high and on its peak day gave 48,000 rides
